Kerry-Ann Ellington is a native of the beautiful island of Jamaica. She moved to the U.S. with her family in 1992. Upon graduating from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Communications, she moved to Southern California to pursue her true passion, acting. Besides gracing the cover of the book, I Do?, she is involved in a variety of film projects due out later this year. Kerry stars as a lead character, the preacher’s daughter Sandra, in the upcoming feature film “Untamed Passions of a Gifted Man.” She plays the role of Claire, Q’s best friend in the short film “Capturing Q.” Along with a part in the feature film “Revealed,” you can also see her in the upcoming feature “The Apartment,” currently in pre-production. In her spare time, Kerry-Ann enjoys reading, cooking, decorating and hanging out with her family and friends.
A great quote she has modeled her life by is “When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life in such a way that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.”
